Whew, busy Monday today! Weighed in at 239.3 today, so in my first week I lost exactly 2.5 lbs without ever feeling the least bit hungry. I must confess I ate pretty much whatever I wanted whenever I wanted to. I ate more popcorn than I should of and enjoyed some potato chips yesterday (forgot to put that in yesterday’s blog). I don’t really think of this as a diet so much as a complete lifestyle change.
Still, if I can lose an average of 2 lbs a week I’ll be at my initial goal weight of 190lbs in just 24 weeks. Wow, that’s just in time for Spring Break!
Started off the day with Oatmeal, chopped nuts and diced apples. For lunch I had a peanut butter sandwich and snacked on a banana an hour later. I had some vegan Thai noodle dish to boost my energy at about 4pm.
For dinner we had some vegetarian tacos and chips from Chipotle. We’ve always enjoyed these, but this time had them without cheese or sour cream. They were still very good and it was a satisfying dinner after a hectic Monday.
A good day indeed with lots of positives to look forward to!
