Day 30 – Movie Night

Day 30 - Movie NightThis morning I had a good work out with 30 minutes on the Nordic Track followed by 10 minutes of lifting on the Bow Flex. Afterwards Cheryl and I took Harley for a 20 minute walk, which the 3 of us enjoyed.

I had my usual oatmeal breakfast with chopped almonds, raisins and diced apples. For lunch I enjoyed the last of the leftover whole wheat pizza, which was still very good. For dinner, I grabbed a quick whole wheat sandwich and then snacked on fresh veges and fruit. I had some snacked on chips later on before bed.

Tonight some new friends came over to our home where we watched the Eating DVD together and talked about the vegan lifestyle. The movie has so many facts and figures that it was nice to be able to see it again and share it with others. They appreciated the “virtuous triad” that veganism promotes: Improved health, Reduced impact on the environment and No longer providing financial support for cruelty to animals.

They got quite a bit out of the movie and asked where they could buy the DVD so they could share it with their relatives. That was an interesting response as it was identical to my own. In fact, this week I sent a copy of the Eating DVD and the Rave Diet & Lifestyle book to my parents and sister. Once you learn about this you can’t help but want to share it with others. In fact, that is really what this blog is all about!

Introduction

I was a very unlikely person to become a vegan, so I wanted to share my day to day experiences as a regular guy that went vegan. Read about what I like and don't like, how I'm feeling and the many changes I've noticed. Please share your comments!
